- The pups we kept from this Tess and Rex litter were able to compete in a double header hunt test in VA and qualify for their Junior Hunt Title at 6 months and 3 days old. These pups barely made the cut off of being old enough to compete and then they went in and nailed their title in one weekend! This was awesome!!!

Any of our litterings of pups will have great looks, style, dispositions and will be natural performers in the field. Both Tess and Rex are AKC Hunt Test Titled, OFA Good and are CERF normal. We strive to produce excellent gundogs that will also make great family companions. Anyone with an interest in our pups will be asked to fill out a puppy application and provide references. We work hard to be sure that our puppies go to forever homes that understand and will enjoy the energy and talents that this breed possesses. All pups are sold with a health guarantee, a one year dog training membership with us, reduced cost on boarding your pup with us if you travel and continued support from us as the breeder. All pups will be sold with a limited registry. The pups are well socialized, micro-chipped, up to date on all shots, wormed, paper trained, handled properly several times each day to take walks & be exposed to outside environment, toys, bird wings and quail. The pups are fed Purina Pro Puppy/ chicken and rice formula.

 One possible choice- The female (Amber) is our personal dog. She is one of the most consistent performers we have for our guide service. She is not only an excellent gundog, but she is also very correct in her conformation, has a great temperament and she is a part of our family. The stud (Ruger) is one of the pups we littered between Cindy and Buck in June 2003. Ruger was sold as a puppy but seen here at the preserve often for hunting purposes and boarding. He is also a consistent performer in the field, a family pet and a great all around dog. The pups will have great looks, style, dispositions and should be natural performers in the field. This breeding has produced nice gundogs that also make great family companions. This would be a repeat breeding. We had a litter with this pair in 2008 and were very pleased with the offspring. Bridger is the pup that we kept from that litter and can be seen working on the preserve. Our pups are sold with a health guarantee, a one year dog training membership with us and continued support from us as the breeder. Applications requested and approved prior to sale.

Both Amber and Ruger are wonderful bird dogs, OFA good, CERF normal, obedient, conformationally correct and great all around dogs.

     Second possible choice- Our female Gabby. A mostly liver female that has many admirable qualities. The male we are selecting at this time would be Bridger an Amber x Ruger pup that is now 3 years old and doing great things.

Third breeding option might be an english pointer litter between our Elhew x Honky Tonk Attitude female, Rose and an Elhew stud. - Let us know if this might be of interest. We would have to have a waiting list prior to breeding this litter.
